This brand new, exciting event from Equally Well will bring together experts by experience and allies, to present the latest innovation, research, challenges and insights on the physical health of people living with mental illness. Lived Experience experts will lead the conversation in a forum open to clinicians, researchers, advocates, educators, service providers, policy makers and anyone keen to share strategies and case studies about: positive actions taking place to improve physical health outcomes for people in the mental health system development and innovations that advance the physical health of people living with mental health challenges insights and opportunities to take the Equally Well movement forward in achieving its aim of closing the life expectancy gap for people living with mental illness. The 2024 Equally Well Forum is an in-person-only event. Discussion and presentations from the Forum will be shared with the wider Equally Well network through potential webinars and a Communique for action following the event.  Apply for a bursary With the support of our generous sponsors, we offer travel and accommodation assistance to people with lived experience of mental illness (as a consumer or carer) to attend the 2024 Equally Well Forum.  This assistance will cover travel (within Australia), accommodation and meal expenses (maximum limits do apply).
