Commissioner Dr Lesley van Schoubroeck spoke today at the 2014 Forensic Mental Health Forum, where the theme was Recovery and Diversity: Treatment, Connection and Inclusion in Forensic Mental Health.
The forum, hosted jointly by Griffith University and the Queensland Forensic Mental Health Service, brought together clinicians, academics and carers to present ideas for discussion.
The Commissioner invited participants to send in their ideas of priorities to get better outcomes for people in the mental health and criminal justice system.
