Our role is to develop a whole-of-government strategic plan to improve the mental health and wellbeing of Queenslanders, particularly people living with mental illness, problematic alcohol and other drug use and those affected by suicide.
The current statewide plan is Shifting minds: The Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Suicide Prevention Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
Statewide planning supports coordinated action by relevant government agencies and seeks to drive innovation and best practice of relevant services.
We also monitor and report on the implementation of the statewide strategic plan.
