The Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention has partnered with leading organisations in the mental health and suicide prevention sector to bring you the 2024 Suicide Prevention Summit.
The Summit aims to equip clinicians and community workers with evidence-based, culturally-informed strategies, insights, and clinical tools for identifying and managing suicide risk.
Delivered via live webinar sessions during May 24-26, 2024, you will hear from 15 experts in mental health and suicide prevention in one online specialised Summit. Recordings will also be available on-demand until July 21.
Topics include substance abuse, safety and resilience, men’s suicide prevention, lived experience and peer work, moral injury, zero suicide, relationship distress, suicide prevention in schools, and much more. Participants can also accrue CPD hours/points* as a counsellor, psychotherapist, psychologist, social worker, community worker, mental health nurse, and more.
