A vital part of the work we do is in the conversations we kindle, the collaboration we facilitate, the relationships and partnerships we build, and the decision-makers we influence.
We do not provide direct services to the public; rather we advance reform by influencing and championing the efforts of others. We influence reform, but our achievements only come through the achievements of others.
Improving the mental health and wellbeing of Queenslanders requires the Commission to work across a wide variety of sectors and with many partners and stakeholders. The collective impact of these relationships can bring about reform and better outcomes for all Queenslanders, including those living with a mental illness and problematic alcohol and other drug use and people affected by suicide.
The Commission supports information exchange among professional groups through direct links to existing websites, or where necessary, by providing a platform for news that is of specific relevance to Queensland.
