On 16-17 June, Queensland Mental Health Commissioner Dr Lesley van Shoubroeck, pictured with Lynne Lane (New Zealand Mental Health Commissioner) and Louise Bradley (Canadian Mental Health Commissioner) attended a two day conference in Dublin, Dublin Dialogues: Discussing the future of Mental Health, hosted by Health Service Executive, Ireland, Mental Health Commission of Ireland, International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership and the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.
The conference focused on bringing together international leaders and experts to engage in in-depth discussions and debates about the future for mental health, planning where mental health needs to be in the next 10 years and to help respond to some of the pressures and opportunities of now.
