Commissioner welcomes $46.5 million for Queensland community mental health

Queensland Mental Health Commissioner Mr Ivan Frkovic has welcomed today’s announcement of an additional $46.5 million to support mental health across the State.

“This is a significant investment to support Queenslanders’ mental health during the pandemic and throughout the State’s recovery,” he said after Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the funding.

“We know that when we are mentally-well we are able to thrive in other areas of our lives.

“Good mental health, and investment in mental health, benefits many aspects of our society, including the economy.”
